Klaus Driessen, a retired school superintendent, was born in the small Bavarian town of Altenmarkt an der Alz, Germany near München. He immigrated to the United States in 1956 and became a naturalized citizen in 1966. He taught German for many years at Arlington and Bowie High Schools in Arlington, Texas. Klaus also taught at The University of Dallas and Tarrant County College and was director of the Goethe German Language School for Children in Dallas for several years. His passions, outside of teaching, include traveling and stained glass window making
