About Us
The Language Acquisition Center (LAC) is located on the third floor of Trimble Hall at the University of Texas at Arlington. The general lab telephone number is (817) 272-5148.
The LAC boasts a growing archive of over 3,000 audio and video recordings to support language instruction at all levels. Additionally, the LAC maintains an active website as well as Internet-based activities, including streaming digital media and online testing.
Schedule for Fall and Spring Semester
- Monday - Thursday: 8:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
- Friday: 8:30 a.m. to 2:00 pm.
Schedule for Summer Sessions
- Monday - Friday: 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Schedule for Finals Week
- Monday - Friday: 9:00 a.m. to 12 Noon
