Dr. Harrison came to UTA to head up the Russian Section in Fall 2007. He teaches a range of topics in Russian language, literature, cinema, and culture.

Dr. Harrison has travelled extensively in Russia and Eastern Europe and now guides a UTA Study Abroad group each summer in Voronezh, Russia.

His research interests are19th and 20th century Russian literature and culture;19th century philosophy and intellectual history; life and works of Fyodor Dostoevsky; modernism and avant-garde; soviet propaganda and ideology.
