Intensive Russian Studies at UTA
During the fall and spring semesters, students at UTA have the opportunity to study Russian intensively.
Studying any language intensively gives you the unique opportunity to focus on the target-language and make considerable progress in a short period of time. Consider a few advantages of studying Russian intensively:
- 5.5 hours of class time per week means high retention rates and great ability to build upon what is learned previously in the classroom.
- Greater speed in reaching fluency.
- Ability to earn up to 14 hours of Russian credit during the academic year.
- Ability to apply your knowledge of Russian in other Russian literature and culture courses in the curriculum.
- Opportunity to join the Summer Study Abroad Program in Russia for an enriching and unforgettable experience.
