Spanish Faculty at UTA
Dr. Jinny Choi received her Ph.D. in Hispanic Linguistics from Georgetown University in 1998. Her areas of specialization are sociolinguistics, bilingualism, Spanish dialectology, and historical linguistics. Dr. Choi's research articles appeared in Hispania, International Journal of Bilingual Education and Bilingualism, Language Problems and Language Planning, Journal of Multilingual and Multicultural Development, Spanish in Context, and other scholarly journals. She is currently working on several projects on language use and language attitudes, and language and identity in transnational bilingual/trilingual communities in South America and in the United States. |
